This qualitative study employed a narrative inquiry design. The study population consisted of remarried couples living in Tehran, Iran, whose remarriage had lasted at least one year. Participants were recruited through purposive sampling, and recruitment continued until theoretical saturation was achieved. A total of 15 couples, including 30 participants, took part in the study. Data were collected through in-depth semi-structured interviews lasting approximately 60 to 90 minutes. The interviews were audio-recorded, transcribed verbatim, and organized using NVivo software. Data were analyzed through thematic narrative analysis with attention to temporal sequencing, turning points, narrative positioning, relational meanings, and reconstructed interpretations of trust and safety. Credibility was enhanced through member checking, peer review, reflexive memo writing, and an audit trail. The analysis showed that redefining trust and emotional security in remarriage is a gradual, conditional, and relationally negotiated process. Five main categories emerged: boundary reconstruction with the past and the former spouse, transition from defensive mistrust to tested trust, emotional security as consistent responsiveness in moments of vulnerability, negotiation of children’s and extended families’ roles, and construction of a shared narrative of a “second chance.” Participants described trust not as a simple return to naïve optimism, but as a pattern of repeated reliability, practical transparency, emotional steadiness, and the capacity to discuss fears rooted in previous marital rupture. Remarriage is not merely a repetition of marital life, but a context for reconstructing meaning, boundaries, couple identity, and emotional security. Couple interventions for remarried partners should address previous relational wounds, trust repair, boundary management, and mutual emotional responsiveness.</p> <p>هدف پژوهش حاضر تحلیل روایت زوج‌های دارای ازدواج مجدد از چگونگی بازتعریف اعتماد و امنیت عاطفی در بستر تجربه‌های پیشین زناشویی، مرزبندی با گذشته و شکل‌دهی به هویت زوجی جدید بود. این پژوهش با رویکرد کیفی و طرح تحلیل روایت انجام شد. جامعه پژوهش شامل زوج‌های دارای ازدواج مجدد ساکن شهر تهران بود که دست‌کم یک سال از ازدواج مجدد آنان گذشته بود. مشارکت‌کنندگان به روش نمونه‌گیری هدفمند انتخاب شدند و فرایند جذب تا رسیدن به اشباع نظری ادامه یافت. در مجموع، ۱۵ زوج، شامل ۳۰ مشارکت‌کننده، در پژوهش شرکت کردند. داده‌ها از طریق مصاحبه‌های نیمه‌ساختاریافته عمیق گردآوری شد و هر مصاحبه بین ۶۰ تا ۹۰ دقیقه به طول انجامید. متن مصاحبه‌ها پس از پیاده‌سازی کامل، در نرم‌افزار NVivo سازمان‌دهی و با رویکرد تحلیل روایت مضمونی و توجه به توالی زمانی، نقاط عطف، کنش‌های روایی و معناهای بازسازی‌شده تحلیل شد. برای افزایش اعتبارپذیری، از بازبینی مشارکت‌کنندگان، بررسی همکار، یادداشت‌برداری تأملی و مسیر حسابرسی استفاده شد. تحلیل روایت‌ها نشان داد که بازتعریف اعتماد و امنیت عاطفی در ازدواج مجدد فرایندی تدریجی، مشروط و رابطه‌محور است. پنج مقوله اصلی استخراج شد: مرزبندی با گذشته و تنظیم حضور همسر سابق، گذار از بی‌اعتمادی دفاعی به اعتماد آزمون‌شده، امنیت عاطفی به‌مثابه پاسخ‌گویی پایدار در موقعیت‌های آسیب‌پذیر، مذاکره بر سر نقش فرزندان و خانواده‌های گسترده، و ساخت روایت مشترک از «فرصت دوم». روایت‌ها نشان دادند که زوج‌ها اعتماد را نه به‌عنوان بازگشت ساده به خوش‌بینی اولیه، بلکه به‌صورت مجموعه‌ای از رفتارهای تکرارشونده، شفافیت عملی، ثبات هیجانی و توانایی تحمل گفت‌وگو درباره ترس‌های گذشته تجربه می‌کنند. ازدواج مجدد صرفاً تکرار رابطه زناشویی پیشین نیست، بلکه میدان بازسازی معنا، مرز، هویت و امنیت عاطفی است. یافته‌ها نشان می‌دهد مداخلات زوج‌درمانی برای زوج‌های دارای ازدواج مجدد باید بر روایت‌های شکست پیشین، ترمیم اعتماد، تنظیم مرزهای ارتباطی با گذشته، و تقویت پاسخ‌گویی هیجانی متقابل متمرکز شوند.</p> https://www.jctaei.com/index.php/jctaei/article/download/48/49
